Nuevo número de Aisthesis (Vol. 9, Nº 1, 2016) online

This issue is dedicated to the impact of the increasingly frequent and
widespread use of the new streaming interfaces on the aesthetic,
metaphysical and social field. How did the diffusion of streaming change our
ways to experience contemporary and past works of art, as well as music
traditions and practices based on improvisation? Contributions cover a wide
range of perspectives, from leading scholars with expertise in this area.
The Issue includes also a Miscellany with contributions of Fausto Fraisopi
on perspective and spatiality in the modern age, Ricardo Ibarlucía on the
interpretations of Eugène Atget’s photography given by Robert Desnos and
Walter Benjamin, Jessica Murano on the sources of Aby Warburg’s concept of
Pathosformel, Fabrizio Desideri on monad and apokatastasis in the Benjamin’s
latest idea of the Messianic World.

We are delighted to welcome three new illustrious members to the
International Advisory Board of Aisthesis: Ricardo Ibarlucia (Centro de
Investigaciones Filosóficas, Universidad Nacional de San Martin, Argentina),
Márcio Seligmann-Silva (Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Brasil) and

We also give a great welcome to three new members of the Editorial Board:
