Boletín de Estética (Bulletin of Aesthetics) is a specialized magazine, edited and published by the Program of Studies on Philosophy of Art of the Center for Philosophical Research. Its purpose is to contribute to the development of this area in Argentina and to spread works of academic interest about philosophical aesthetics, theory of art and history of aesthetic ideas.

The Program of Studies on Philosophy of Art takes place since the year 2000 in the Center for Philosophical Research, a scientific institution located in the city of Buenos Aires and Associated Unity to the National Council of Scientific and Technological Investigation (CONICET). It groups researchers from different Argentinean universities, and its activities involve, among others, carrying out seminars and academic meetings, training researchers, cooperating with other national and foreign institutions, the organization of a library and a specialized journal collection and the publication, in addition to Boletín de Estética, of Biblos Editors’ Pasajes series.

This website contains Boletín de Estética’s electronic edition, plus an online library of books and articles on the subject and links to other similar digital files, a selection of works written by junior researchers, graduate students and advanced grade students from different Argentinean universities, as well as information on projects related to the Program of Studies on Philosophy of Art and links to other journals and institutions specialized in aesthetic research and similar subjects.
